Hybrid position (Remote work + office 1x/month + client site visits as needed).
Efficient Plant is looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join its Program Management team and contribute to the planning, monitoring, and execution of client projects in the pharmaceutical, energy, and agri‑food sectors.
An ideal role for a young engineer who is rigorous, structured, and passionate about project management in highly regulated environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Program Management in coordinating and tracking programs and project portfolios in automation.
- Participate in planning, creating, and updating schedules (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
- Prepare progress reports, KPIs, risk analyses, and dashboards (Excel, Power BI).
- Ensure the management and control of project documentation in accordance with quality standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Validation, Engineering, Operations, IT, and OT teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
- Support the organization of program meetings: agendas, minutes, and action follow‑ups.
- Contribute to improving project management processes and implementing Program Management best practices.
Required Skills
- Functional proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet.
- Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data structuring).
- Experience or interest in Power BI (basic modelling, visualization).
- Asset: knowledge of automation environments (Ignition, DeltaV, Rockwell PLC) and MES (Werum PAS‑X, Syncade).
- Asset: experience or internship in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical, or GMP environment.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, electrical, chemical, automation, or related).
- 0 to 3 years of experience in managing or coordinating technical projects, ideally combined with a few years of hands‑on experience as a technical project resource in automation.
- An analytical mindset, rigour, organizational skills, and the ability to break down complex concepts.
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Autonomy in remote work, proactivity, and excellent communication skills.
- English required, French an asset.
- Asset: Member of the Order of Engineers.
